Conduct VIN searches

Your personal information will be used to identify you as a legitimate user of the database and ensure the correct access (eg. 5 searches per person). It will not be forwarded to any other party or used for any other purpose unless you have provided your consent.

Receive email updates

When you subscribe to email updates you must provide an email address to which the system can send your alerts. We will only use your email address to send you information about recalls and any news associated with recalls from time to time.

Supplying your contact details to the manufacturer where a recall has been identified

If you have indicated your consent, All Auto Recalls (AAR) will provide your contact details to the manufacturer of the recalled item so they can contact you to arrange the appropriate action.

If you are concerned about how the manufacturer will deal with your personal information you should check their privacy policies before you consent. AAR also has no control over the information once it is forwarded to the manufacturer and cannot be held responsible for the action or otherwise of the manufacturer.

Even if you consent to provide your contact details we strongly recommend you contact the manufacturer directly to ensure the recalled item is replaced/rectified as soon as possible (see disclaimer).
